Using Our Tools

The PDF Buddy provides browser-based PDF utilities for personal and business document tasks. You are responsible for the files you upload and for making sure you have the right to process them.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the service for unlawful content, malware, spam, abuse, or attempts to disrupt the website. We may limit or block access that harms the site or other users.

Files and Privacy

Many tools run locally in your browser. When a tool requires server processing, uploaded files should be treated as temporary processing inputs. Avoid uploading sensitive files unless you are comfortable using an online tool for that document.

Availability

We aim to keep the tools fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect output for every file. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the site is improved.

No Account Required

The PDF Buddy does not require you to create an account to use the tools. Where a tool processes a file locally in your browser, no file data is transmitted to us as part of that process.

Intellectual Property

The PDF Buddy's site design, branding, and tool interfaces are owned by The PDF Buddy. You retain full ownership of any files you upload, edit, or generate using the tools.

Advertising

The tools are supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are served separately from upload and download controls; see our Cookie Policy for details on how ad and analytics cookies work.

Limitation of Liability

The tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The PDF Buddy is not liable for data loss, file corruption, or damages arising from use of the site, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Keep a backup of any file before processing it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the tools and site evolve. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
