The PDF Buddy provides free online image processing tools including resizing, compression, and format conversion. All tools operate entirely within your web browser:

• Image Resizer: Change image dimensions
• Image Compressor: Reduce file size while maintaining quality
• Image Converter: Change between JPG, PNG, and WebP formats
• Bulk Processor: Process multiple images at once

Important: All processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your images.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership of your images. We do not claim any ownership over the images you process using our tools.

3.2 No Access

Because all processing happens locally in your browser, we never have access to your images. We cannot view, copy, store, or share your content.

3.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the images you process using our tools. You represent and warrant that you have the right to process these images and that doing so does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services responsibly and not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile our code
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to bypass any security measures
• Use the service to process illegal or prohibited content

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our IP

The The PDF Buddy name, logo, website design, and code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or reproduce them without permission.

5.2 Open Source

Our code is open source and available on GitHub. You're welcome to learn from it, but please respect the license terms.

5.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve our services. You won't be compensated for such feedback, but we'll be grateful!

6. Disclaimers

6.1 "As Is" Service

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6.2 No Guarantees

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that processed images will meet your specific requirements. You should always review the results.

6.3 Beta Features

We may occasionally offer beta features that are still in testing. These may not work perfectly and could change at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The PDF Buddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Since our tools are free and we don't have access to your images, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law. In no event shall our total liability exceed $0 (yes, zero dollars).

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We'll never make retroactive changes that violate the spirit of these terms or our commitment to privacy and free access.
